Just don't put your finger over this antennae, while trying to make a call. That's because beta testers all over the world, catch everything wrong, with every product, before it is released. I also know that you have never, ever, bought a product that failed, or was dead on arrival.

I guess answering my own question is only update one pc -) I will go stick my Def Leppard LP on Wow, I knew you would figure it out, it just took you awhile. ( in my case not such an issue as i have other software i could use). I could end up with only version 8 on both main and backup pc.

I get the point but in reality i would prefer when version 8 is released it has already been tested before it is released to the public, after all when i buy a pc, tv, fridge i expect it to do the job i bought it for. If not does this mean taking a month off work, cancel all gigs so i can test VDJs software at home? If you can keep both versions on PC, not an issue as i can keep gigging with current version while testing ( thought beta testers did this) new version. So when VDJ 8 is released does this mean you can keep a copy of the current version AND a copy of version 8 on two pcs (main and back up). This kind of common sense, is forbidden in the Kingdom, and could result is some of your stars, being slowly torn from under your name, and have you banished to the moderation team.

The new drivers labeled as Windows DCH graphics drivers are not backward compatible with our previous graphics drivers, which we are now labeling Legacy. Oh.My.God, Becky, the trumpets of the Four Horsemen can be heard all over the lands (well actually it would be Def Leppard singing Armagenddon It, but close enough). Steps to restore to a previous driver in Windows Caution: Failure to read this message may result in system instability. If everyone did this, call centers would be desolate, there would be mayhem in the streets, kaos all over the world. This is treasonous, an insult to the Realm, downright blasphemy. When performing live, always make sure that you have a backup system that is able to work independently from your computer that you can fall back on in an emergency (A software MIDI controller that has no hardware mixing capabilities will cease to function should your computer crash or need to be rebooted.) This is the craziest thing I have ever heard, in my life. Also, make sure that you always have a full backup first before making any changes and always perform a backup at least once per week of your music collection, database, etc.

Always wait until you will have plenty of time to be able to fully test everything is working correctly after the upgrade and sufficient time to be able to revert back again if necessary. Another important lesson is to never make any major changes to your system just prior to going to a gig, especially if your system is already working perfectly.
